EMBL’s Internal Scientific Training team organises complementary scientific skills courses for researchers wishing to improve their non-technical scientific skills.
Transferrable skills are essential for a successful career. The Complementary Scientific Skills Programme offers courses to complement the outstanding research training fellows received in the laboratories with the aim of rounding the scientific profile of EMBL fellows.
The programme of courses also includes workshops from the EMBL Fellows’ Career Service.
The courses are run by external and internal trainers. The programme regularly reviews its offers based on participant feedback and course suggestions put forward from EMBL’s Fellow community.
